The Cerebral Palsy Assocation of Manitoba holds several events throughout the year. Information on upcoming events are listed below. Please check back often for updates.

Assiniboine Park Zoo
Sunday, September 24, 2017 @ 12:00PM - 2:30PM

Meet at the Tamarack Room, Qualico Family Centre near the Duck Pond for Lunch. 60 Minute Guided tour of Journey to Churchill starts at Group entrance. After the guided tour, members are free to roam the zoo at their leisure.

12:00 to 1:15 pm- Sandwich and Dainty lunch in Tamarack Room, Qualico Family Centre
1:15 to 1:30 pm- Walk to Special Events Entry and meet Education Coordinators
1:30 pm- Arrive at Special Events Gate
1:30 pm- Meet Education Coordinators for 60 min Journey to Churchill Tour
1:30 to 1:40 pm- Walk to beginning of Journey to Churchill
2:00 pm- Arrive at Gateway to the Arctic
2:00 2:10 pm- View Rhythm of the North 9 min Feature Film
2:10 2:20 pm- View Polar bears and seals in Sea Ice Passage
2:20 2:30 pm- Continue Journey to Churchill Tour
2:30 pm- Finish Journey to Churchill Tour at Tundra Grill
2:30 pm- Self guide through Zoo, exit Special Events Entry

Please note that this is a 60 minute tour and guests may wish to self-guide after the tour. CPAM Group can exit via the East Gate.

In 1984, it became a Paralympic sport, and in 2008 was being practised in over fifty countries worldwide.
